WHAT IT IS: StriVectin Phase-2 Topical Anti-Oxidant. WHAT IT CLAIMS: Neutralizes free radicals, which can lead to lines and dark spots; minimizes existing damage. WHAT'S IN IT: BW-2 sulforaphane, an antioxidant complex derived from wasabi root and broccoli extract. (A study in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology found the complex to be 250 percent stronger than the potent antioxidant idebenone.) HOW IT WORKS: BW-2 sulforaphane stops free-radical reactions and combines with enzymes on the skin to help soften wrinkles, says the company.
