TOKYO, June 8 Asia Pulse - Japan's Toppan Printing Co. (TSE:7911) will slash costs by 29 billion yen (US$294 million) groupwide in the year ending next March by reorganizing the printing production system and development efforts at its electronics business.
Although sales are forecast to edge down 1 per cent this fiscal year, the firm seeks to achieve double-digit growth in operating profit by axing fixed costs.
