EMIRATES' FIRST TORONTO FLIGHT POSTS 94% LOAD FACTOR.
TORONTO, June 8 Asia Pulse - The Emirates airline's first A380 flight to Toronto achieved about a 94 per cent load factor, according to Tim Clark, President, Emirates Airline.
The first and only flights to and from Canada began on June 1, 2009, when an Emirates A380 Dubai to Toronto flight landed at Pearson International Airport.
The UAE Ambassador to Canada Mohammed Al Ghafli and Canadian Minister of State for Small Business and Tourism Diane Ablonczy attended the celebration hosted to mark the maiden flight.
In an address marking the inaugural A380 services to Canada, Clark expected the company to achieve high load factor on its Toronto route.
