That conclusion emerged from a systematic review and metaanalysis of the published literature conducted by Dr. SanchezRamos of the department of obstetrics and gynecology, University of Florida Health Science Center, Jacksonville.
"This is a very important clinical problem. Many obstetricians feel that if babies are getting big they have to do something early. Our study shows that, based on the literature, we should leave them alone," he commented.
The metaanalysis included a total of 11 studies and involved 3,751 women.
