Companies often rent 1800 numbers for a couple of months after a recall is announced. If the number given is no longer operating, phone the manufacturer or retailer direct.
FOOD: Naturally Good Products has recalled the following soy carob products: Soy Carob Easter Bunny (125 g), Soy Carob Easter Eggs (box of six 20 g eggs), Soy Carob Coconut Crunch cookies, Soy Carob Ginger Gem cookies, Soy Carob Honeycomb--Dairy Free, all best-before dates up to April 1, 2005.
The problem: These products contain undeclared milk protein.
What to do: If you have a milk protein allergy or intolerance, don't eat them. Return them to the place of purchase for a refund. For more information call (03) 9460 8050.
MINERAL SUPPLEMENTS: Mayne Consumer Products has recalled Nature's Own Zinc, Magnesium + g6, batch number 302614 (in plastic bottles of 75 tablets) and batch numbers 302846 and 400080 (both in plastic bottles of 200 tablets).
