Protecting physicians against "frivolous" lawsuits, a new service offered by the Medical Justice Corp., is a good idea ("Company Offers Plans to Curb Frivolous Lawsuits," May 1, 2004, p. 27).
I wonder, however, why the major malpractice insurance companies do not sue those lawyers who have instituted frivolous lawsuits against them.
