WELLINGTON, April 10 (Xinhua) - New Zealand Prime Minister John Key said New Zealand views its relationship with China as very strategic and important in the years ahead, and the government is focusing on having a China strategy.

In a recent exclusive interview with Xinhua, Key said New Zealand and China have very good relations. New Zealand was the first developed country to sign a free trade agreement (FTA) with China.
