Just a very short note to let you know the December 2001 issue (Vol. 11, #8) of CURVE is the most insightful issue you have printed to date. The lesbian press ordinarily takes a great deal of criticism for shallow and meaningless articles. You left all of that behind with the December issue.

FINDING THE JOY
I wanted to let you know what a pleasure it was reading Victoria Brownworth's article "The Meaning of Joy" in the December 2001 issue (Vol. 11, #8) of CURVE. It is so important to emphasize that joy is elusive and that although we are blessed with access to it, seldom, if ever, is it experienced for prolonged periods of time.
