LUBOK ANTU (Sri Aman): Batang Ai folk have been urged not to allow the constituency to fall into the hands of a "foreign" party.

This advice came from Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) vice-president Joseph Mauh Ikeh, who urged voters to defend the heartland of the Iban civilisation at all costs.

Mauh, who is also state assemblyman for Tamin, said there should be no reason for voters of Batang Ai to support Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) as it was not a Sarawak-based party.

"We should not let Batang Ai fall into the hands of a foreign party," he said, urging the people to cast their votes …
