TASHKENT, April 1 Asia Pulse - The economy of Uzbekistan will grow seven per cent in 2009 and 6.5 per cent in 2010, the Asian Development Banks's (ADB) flagship annual economic publication, Asian Development Outlook 2009 (ADO 2009), said on Tuesday.
The report said Uzbekistan's GDP rose by 8.5 per cent in 2008 and a favorable export environment and prudent fiscal and monetary policies have driven strong economic performance in the last few years.
