SYDNEY, April 1 Asia Pulse - Three thousand homes and businesses in Sydney's inner west are blacked out after an electrical fault that may have been caused by heavy rain.
About 6.30am (AEDT) a fault cut the power supply to parts of Glebe and Camperdown, an EnergyAustralia spokesman said.
The fault could be in a transformer at the Camperdown substation or in the cable bays in the underground network that supplies energy to the substation, he said.
