Yes. Imagine yourself on a desert island. Imagine that the only assets you have are the ones that you have in your pocket and that everything else you need can be found on the desert island. And if it isn't on the desert island, you will do without it or improvise. Now, imagine this is the mortgage business.
Somewhere along the way I have heard the saying: "Only what you have can help you and all that you have is enough." When times are tough, as humans, we have a tendency to dwell on all of the things we do not have. When times are bad we think to ourselves:
