Wraxall residents stake claim on land to stop fly tippers.

Resdients in Wraxall have fenced off a piece of "no man's land" to prevent it from being used as a makeshift rubbish dump.

Villagers took the decision to fence off the unused quarry area at Bristol Road, opposite the entrance to The Grove, after becoming increasingly concerned it was being used by fly tippers.

Over the past several months, a large amount of rubble has been put in the quarry and now other items , including pipes and pieces of wire fencing have been dumped there.

This week residents went and put up posts and wire fencing across the entrance to the site as well as posters asking people not to dump …
