Khan adds: Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhary today took formal charge as chief justice of Pakistan after a 2-year lawyers' campaign on this "historic day." Khan says: Chaudhary today pledged to the nation that he would fully try to provide justice to the people of Pakistan at their doorsteps and cleanse the judiciary of corruption. Continuing, Khan says: Chaudhary's pledge to provide corruption-free justice is the dream of the Pakistani nation ever since its independence.

Kamran Khan establishes video link with Geo News Correspondent Abdul Qayyum Siddiqui and asks him about Chaudhary's activities on first day as the chief justice. …
