Russian national security strategy amended due to crisis - Security Council head.

Moscow, 24 March: Russia's Strategy of National Security to 2020 has been amended on account of the global economic and financial crisis, [Russian] Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev has said.
"The financial and economic crisis has only aggravated the need for strategic planning," Patrushev told a sitting of the Security Council on Tuesday [24 March] where he presented the main provisions of the strategy to the council's members and its head, President Dmitriy Medvedev.
