LOW Wei Sheng of Negri Sembilan, the boys' singles Under-18 top seed, cruised into the quarter-finals but national junior Ng Sin Er suffered shock exit in the girls' Under-18 event of the National Schools Sports Council (MSSM) badminton championships in Kangar yesterday.

Wei Sheng beat Tan Kah Zhan of Kuala Lumpur 21-10, 21-15 to secure a semi-final meeting with Nur Azryn Ayub of Selangor, who beat Sarawak's Woon Kok Hong 21-15, 21-17, today.

Sin Er, a semi-finalist in the National Grand Prix Finals last December, was upset by fourth ranked national junior from Kuala Lumpur Nur Hani Aziz who registered a 21-16, 7-21, 21-18 win …
