Section: General News - Vietnam Airlines is seeking to overturn a court decision against the carrier in a lawsuit filed by an Italian citizen who seeks 5 million euros in compensation.
The airlines says the Italian court has chosen April 2 as the date to consider an appeal lodged by the carrier to cancel a verdict made by the Rome Tribunal Court on March 7, 2000, according to a press release by the company.
That verdict demanded that Vietnam Airlines pay 5 million euros in compensation to the plaintiff, Maurizio Liberati, an Italian citizen.
