Nigeria: Bauchi State vows to close any religious violence-ridden school.

Bauchi State government has warned that any school in the state where civil disturbances occur would be closed down for a minimum of one calendar year.

The state commissioner for information, Alhaji Muhammed Abdullahi, announced this while briefing newsmen in Bauchi.

He explained that government took the decision as part of measures to prevent schools from been turned into breading ground for civil disturbances.
