We have all been taught how to dress for travel, but it's almost more appropriate to think about ways to undress. There's always someone who seems to need an hour to empty everything into those plastic bins; if you follow a few tricks, it won't be you.
Know the shortcuts. There may be a shorter line for premium members of a frequent-flyer club, or for $199 you can get a Clear Card, which gets you onto an express line at security. The Clear Card is not accepted at a lot of major airports, however, so it may only be worth the money if it's in use at your home base.
