City planning chiefs have recommended multimillion-pound plans for a new business park at the southern entrance to Aberdeen be approved, it emerged last night.
Balmoral Park business estate, off Wellington Road and beside Loirston Loch, could become the new base for more than 1,000 workers if proposals for a 128-bed hotel, a car showroom and offices are rubber-stamped.
Councillors will next week consider an outline application for the 18-acre site, with officials urging planning committee members to give the development the go-ahead.
