Section: General News - The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) confirmed on Wednesday that the U.S. State Department is already reviewing the extradition papers of former Police Senior Supt. Cesar Mancao to find out if there is legal impediment in his extradition.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) had already requested the U.S. government for Mancao's extradition. The State Department has started looking into the travel documents which the DOJ prepared. We are told that Mancao will be brought to Washington for the extradition process, said NBI spokesman Atty. Allan Contado.
