Before getting into the details, I want to make a note of a question that has been building up in my mind since [US Secretary of State Hillary] Clinton came to Turkey, and particularly since the announcement that [US President Barack] Obama will be coming as well: What is America preparing to ask of Turkey?!

Yes, the situation is in my view rather plain: America has some important business with us, but has not yet revealed it!
