Ever since Tulane University LA merged its donor-funded Newcomb College for Women in 2005, the college's alumni and supporters have caused an uproar.
"Our goal is to restore Newcomb as the coordinate women's college of Tulane University," said Renee Seblatnigg, president of the activist group The Future of Newcomb College. Its motto is "Newcomb Lives."
