Kisan Board Pakistan (KBP) has decided to convene a meeting of its provincial general council on Saturday (tomorrow) to discuss the problems being faced by the farmers and line of action for the forthcoming wheat procurement drive.

The Board would constitute committees comprising representatives of the farmers from all over the province to monitor the wheat procurement drive and ensure transparency in it. A KBP spokesman said that the Board representatives also met Director Food Punjab Sheharyar Sultan on Thursday …
