Brussels, March 1 (CTK) - Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek and EC President Jose Manuel Barroso did not rule out at today's extraordinary EU summit, convened by the Czech presidency, that a summit of the eurozone countries could possibly be held. French President Nicolas Sarkozy has long been calling for the summit meeting but his attempts have been rejected by some member states which considered it as the division of the EU. Topolanek said he was not against the eurozone summit, and Barroso is of the same opinion. If the member states of the eurozone find it necessary, then why not call it, Barroso told journalists at a joint press conference with Topolanek.
