Korea and all members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations sealed a deal for manufactured goods and services in their free-trade agreement in Thailand yesterday, Seoul's Trade Ministry said.

The agreement marks the successful completion of the FTA talks with all 10 ASEAN members, which began in November 2004 without Thailand due to a disagreement over Seoul's insistence on excluding rice. Thailand is the world's leading rice exporter.
