The patrons and conspirators of the soldiers' rebellion in the BDR [Bangladesh Rifles, paramilitary border guards] headquarters in Dhaka will need to face trial, said the home minister, Sahara Khatun, on Friday, 27 February.

Briefing reporters in her office in the ministry, Sahara said stern action would be taken against the BDR soldiers involved in killing and looting during the rebellion which spanned two days in the headquarters.
