United States/Vietnam: US tops league of foreign visitors to Vietnam.
Section: General News - Up to 90,000 visitors from the US landed in Vietnam during the first two months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 40 percent, and making it the global leader in terms of the number of foreigners visiting the Southeast Asian country.
As well as a surge in the number of Americans visiting Vietnam, the number of arrivals from Australia, France and Canada was also up, compared to the corresponding period last year, with increases ranging from 12-30 percent.
