FRENCH KISS
What a treat it was to see the lovely Reese Witherspoon gracing the cover of your November issue ["Innocence Abroad," by Robert Sullivan, photographed by Mario Testino]. Not only is she a talented actor, she is a devoted mother, businesswoman, and humanitarian. A parent could only hope to have her daughter grow into the type of woman Witherspoon strives to be. VOGUE is a first-class fashion magazine, so thank you for featuring a first-class lady.

Many thanks for an excellent November issue. It was sheer genius to have Mario Testino photograph Reese Witherspoon. His pictures of the happy actress are amazing, and Robert Sullivan's report was a delightful read. What a refreshingly candid profile of a young woman who has a new look, a new man, and a newfound happiness, and had a chance to live out her fashion fantasy in the City of Light.
