Two-time MTNA competition-winner Parker Ramsay has been offered and accepted the position of Organ Scholar at King's College, Cambridge University, England. Parker, 17, of Burns, Tennessee, won the 2006 MTNA Junior Composition Competition and the 2007 MTNA Senior Composition Competition. He will be the first American to hold the Organ Scholarship at King's College, one of the premier positions in the world for training young organists. Ramsay will begin his studies there in the fall of 2010.
