Section: General News - Policies on visa issuance to Vietnamese citizens will remain unchanged under the administration of new US President Barack Obama, says Janice Jacobs, US assistant secretary of state in charge of consular affairs, who promised stability in consular policies.

The ongoing global economic crisis and growing unemployment in the US would not impact the US government's visa policies, even in the field of labour, Jacobs said during a visit to the USA Education Centre in Ho Chi Minh City yesterday.
