(Retd) Muhammad Musa Hazara College, she said that the programme was aimed at emancipating women from economic constraints and enabling them to stand on their feet as they would be able to provide better education to their children. "When women become empowered financially they will provide better education to their children and their families become prosperous. When families become prosperous then society becomes well off then ultimately Balochistan and Pakistan will be affluent in the region, she said.
Underlining the significance of BISP, she said that preliminary each form holder would receive Rs2000 after two months each then the government would also initiate technical and computer education for children of deserving women after receiving their complete data and information from Nadra.
She said that the government would also provide soft loans on installations to women in order to enable them to initiate home economics at their homes to earn their livelihood under the support programme after collecting their complete data who applied to get benefits from the programme.
Farzana Raja said that BISP was providing immense incentives to deserving women as they did not need to visit banks or post offices for receiving the amount because postmen themselves provide cash amount to women at their doorsteps without any charges.
She said that poor women could get form without any charge from their
respective MNAs, and postmen would also provide cash without any fee to them at their doorsteps.
