SIMSEK: "WE ARE NOT IN HURRY FOR A DEAL WITH IMF"

State Minister Mehmet Simsek said they were holding talks with the IMF for continuation of growth and investments in the country and Turkey was not in a hurry for a deal with the fund. "Turkey has been working on a program complying with its interests," he said.

17 PERCENT DISCOUNT IN NATURAL GAS PRICES

As of February 1, there will be 17 percent of decrease in natural gas prices for domestic consumers and 18 percent for industrial consumers. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the discount at a ceremony in Istanbul and said discounts would continue.
