A COMPETITION to find a name for a ferocious dinosaur is set to be a roaring success. Staff at the pounds 26m Great North Museum: Hancock which is due to open in Newcastle in April, expect a big response to the challenge to name what will be one of the attractions' star exhibits.
Last month, a custom built, full size skeletal cast of the T rex dinosaur arrived from Canada to take up permanent residence in the new museum's Fossils Stories gallery.
It is an exact replica of what is one of the most complete T rex specimens ever found.
