HUNDREDS of North-East workers who staged a wildcat walkout in a dispute over foreign labour are putting their own jobs at risk, bosses warned last night.

Moves to bring in hundreds of Italian and Portuguese contractors to work on a GBP200m plant at the Lindsey Oil Refinery, in North Lincolnshire, sparked protests across the country.

On Teesside, more than 500 workers staged an early morning non-union endorsed protest yesterday at the Wilton International site, near Redcar.
