Louth may not have the bright lights of London, but this week at the Riverhead Theatre, thanks to the students of King Edward VI Grammar School, it shares one accolade with the West End - they are both staging the musical Oliver! Oliver! King Edward VI Grammar School, Riverhead Theatre, Louth.
The musical, of course, is loosely based on Dickens' novel Oliver Twist and is a tale of poverty, workhouse life, exploitation, petty crime, violence and ultimately murder.
There's even room for misguided romance along the way.
