British Foreign Secretary David Miliband has taken part in a conference held at Chatham House in London, about a book that is going to be published by American institutions concerned with spreading peace and security in the world. Also present at the conference were Sandy Berger, national security adviser under former President Bill Clinton; and Thomas Pickering, undersecretary of state for political affairs, at that time.

Although the conference was mainly about the launch of a book entitled: "Power and Responsibility: Building International Order in an Era of Transitional Threats," members of the audience thought that they could ask Miliband questions about his position …
