YANGON, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) - Myanmar has denied some foreign media report that Rohinja [Muslim ethnic group] attempting to illegally enter Thailand from sea were from Myanmar, according to an official statement released in Friday's newspaper New Light of Myanmar.

"The Rohinja is not included in over 100 national races of the Union of Myanmar," the statement said.
