Head of Slovene border commission resigns over fees controversy.

Ljubljana, 30 January (STA) - Miha Pogacnik stepped down as the head of the Slovenian part of the commission of Slovenian and Croatian legal experts on the border on Friday, quoting a negative media campaign over his fees as the reason.

According to media reports, Pogacnik received EUR 6,300 gross a month for heading the commission which is looking for a legal framework for the settlement of the Slovenian-Croatian border dispute.

In addition, the government has been reportedly paying his Iustica company EUR 2,500 gross a month for legal advice.
