Ukrainian naval units in Crimea cut off from power over debt.

Kiev, 30 January: A number of units of the Ukrainian Navy deployed in the Crimea have been cut off from electricity supply for several days, the Breeze broadcasting company of Sevastopol reports.

A naval engineering battalion, deployed in Bakhchysaray, was cut off from electricity supply a week ago. Its canteen, boiler room and some offices are not functioning. Some electrical appliances failed. According to the information of the office for communal services, the unit was cut off from electricity supply for the nonpayment of a debt amounting to 22,000 hryvnyas (some 2,800 dollars).
