Prishtina [Pristina], 25 Jan - Following two powerful explosions in Mitrovice [Kosovska Mitrovica] on Saturday [ 24 January] evening, the situation there seems to be calm and normal.

Besim Hoti, spokesman of the Kosova [Kosovo] Police for the Mitrovice region, said that, immediately after the explosions, the situation was placed under control of law enforcement. Hoti added that the locals had also contributed to the normalization of the situation by cooperating with the police.
