Afghan observers partially blame West for failures.

[Presenter] Some western media are reflecting more failures of the Afghan government these days. The New York Times, quoting two American officials yesterday, said that the government of President Karzai has failed in the fight against poppy cultivation, drug trafficking, corruption and terrorism. But a number of analysts believe the international community has also played a role in the failures of the Afghan government. Wali Arian is reporting in this respect.
