China denies food-poisoning cases involving dumplings recalled from Japan.

Beijing, Jan. 25 Kyodo - Chinese authorities said Saturday no serious food-poisoning cases have ever been reported after employees of a Chinese company ate frozen dumplings recalled in connection with such cases in Japan, China's Xinhua News Agency reported.

A worker with Chengde Iron and Steel Co. experienced discomfort after eating dumplings delivered by the company, but the man was fine after taking a rest, the news agency quoted an official of the Hebei Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission as saying.
