A BURGER chain has started selling chip-shaped apples to encourage children to eat more fuit.

Bosses say a pack of "Fresh Apple Fries" - already popular in the US - provides one of a child's five-a-day.

And the "chips" are not actually fried at all, so should help kids cut down on fatty foods.
