Serbia has drawn up a detailed proposal of measures for the overhaul and modernization of Naftna Industrija Srbije [NIS - Serbian Oil Company] if Russia's Gazprom furnishes the necessary guarantees that it will build the South Stream trunk gas pipeline and so qualify as a buyer for NIS. The investment plan in the form of an investment agreement will be put before a senior Gazprom delegation that is due in Belgrade on Friday [5 December], headed by CEO Alexei Miller.
