Tunku Intan heads honours list.

ALOR STAR: Datuk Seri Tunku Intan Safinaz heads the list of those receiving awards in conjunction with the Sultan of Kedah's 81st birthday celebrations today.

Tunku Intan, the youngest of the Sultan's three daughters, will receive the the Orang Besar Empat, which carries the title Tunku Panglima Besar.

The investiture ceremony, in which 62 people will receive awards, will be held at Istana Anak Bukit. The full honours list has not been released. Lance Corporal Zamri Md Soot, of the 6th Battalion Royal Malay Regiment, is the sole recipient of Bintang Keberanian Kedah.
