Congratulations are due to Mr Nat Puri and his architect Julian Marsh for throwing the inequity of modern planning policy into sharp relief by gaining planning permission for a well designed house in the green belt I have recently had to explain to a couple of my own clients that the local authority will not allow them to add a very small conservatory to the back of their home, even though their entire site is completely concealed behind a thick swath of trees.
