The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is issuing a notice of receipt of a request by BASF to voluntarily cancel the registration of two products containing the pesticide fomesafen, in accordance with section 6(f)(1) of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), as amended. The products are BAS 530 04 H herbicide and Faster TM herbicide. The request would not terminate the last fomesafen products registered for use in the USA.
