Every star knows she owes her fame to the movie ticketand album-buying public, but there's a trade-offdealing with those fans in person. We asked celebrities at the BCBG, Michael Kors, and Luca Luca fashion shows about the most unusual places they've been approached.
Hitting up a star in the bathroom is bizarrely common. "When someone hands me a piece of toilet paper to sign underneath the restroom door," said Vivica A. Fox, "that's not hygienic."
One admirer came up to Anne Hathaway in a locker room. "I had just had a long day doing stunts, and I was in the Jacuzzi," she said. "And someone asked if she could have an autograph. I stood up, naked, and said, 'I am a little busy right now.'"
Not even a darkened theater could keep one Ne-Yo fan quiet: "I was at the movies. And I got that tap on the shoulder and the whisper: 'Can I have your autograph?'" He turned him down: "If I did one, I'd have to do everybody."
