Inspired leaders initiate big changes. Disappointment or disillusion may follow, with results so different from what they envisioned that they think the initiative failed. We get into trouble when we confuse the project design with the most desirable outcome.

Dr. Barbara Curry, professor in the school of education at the University of Delaware, refrained successful change as an ongoing process of negotiation and adaptation.
